PSoC™ 6 MCU based Wi-Fi solution enables you to create a secure, low power, feature-rich IoT product. PSoC™ 6 MCU integrates a dual-CPU architecture, and also includes a rich set of peripherals including capacitive touch sensing, audio interface, and external memory interfaces. The built-in security features ensure your IoT system is protected.

Infineon provides the ModusToolbox™ software for developing cloud connected solutions using Wi-Fi MCUs. ModusToolbox™ software is the most adaptable development system for IoT and includes carefully packaged solutions to support the popular ecosystems and cloud management tools that are in use today including AWS IoT and Arm Pelion.

Infineon has partnered with various module partners to provide pre-certified radio modules and System-In-Package (SiP) solutions to simplify RF design and regulatory certification. Evaluation kits are available for getting started with the Wi-Fi MCU products and partner modules, and to prototype the IoT applications.

Wi-Fi MCU Code Examples

Infineon provides an extensive set of validated, and well documented code examples for the different IoT Ecosystems. These code examples are available in GitHub, and the following links will help you to get started.

AnyCloud SDK Examples

These examples demonstrate how to use ModusToolbox Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity libraries that are not tied to a specific cloud or device management solution. These include MQTT publisher and subscriber, OTA bootloading, and secure socket examples.

AWS IoT Examples

This link displays a list of all Cypress Amazon FreeRTOS examples. In addition, the Amazon FreeRTOS repository demo folder contains multiple examples, including additional AWS IoT examples. See the Getting Started guide for each board for the supported code examples, available through the repository ReadMe file.

Mbed OS Examples

This link displays a list of all Mbed-OS examples on the Cypress GitHub site, including CapSense, the emWin library, AWS IoT, and more.
